Meet Katie

As founder of KDR Interiors, Katie brings nearly three decades of experience designing interiors for luxury homes and yachts.

Katie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Textile Design from the University of Georgia and an Interior Design degree from Indian River State University. She began her career in the late 1990s designing luxury yacht interiors, where precision, durability, and thoughtful planning were essential.

Over the years, Katie has collaborated with leading boat yards, custom home builders, architects, artisans, and skilled trades people, cultivating lasting relationships with trusted craftspeople who share her commitment to exceptional quality.

Katie founded KDR Interiors to offer a more personal approach to design—one rooted in collaboration, creativity, and genuine connection. She takes the time to understand how her clients live, entertain, and gather, creating homes that are elegant without feeling formal, sophisticated without sacrificing comfort, and thoughtfully tailored to the people who live in them.
